Aile -60
Elev +60
Pitch -89

I still have a lot of adjusting to do on it yet. I think I put about 6 turns on the links to make them longer.

Yeh i tried -80% on Pitch, gave me 10 degrees. But it started to bind on the top of the frame. I'll make the arms longer.

Guys i have a problem. My 450 has developed a really bad shake. I thought it was the tail shaft as it was the only bit a didn't replace. I changed it but it still shakes. I looked at the blades and they were out of align so i did the best i could but when i hovered they were way out. After a while i got that sorted but noticed that it would be ok for a few seconds blades aligned then suddenly it would start to shake and the blades were all over the place.
I have now stripped the head down to make sure everything is tight. The only thing i could find was the flybar had a very very small bend to it.
Any ideas on what else to check??? Cheers.
Also the tail was fine before a changed it but now when centring the blades one is perfect and the other is way out. There is nothing to adjust to make them even, or is there?????

If you can, I would like to see a vid of exactly what you are talking about. from the sounds of it, you need to adjust the tracking of your blades. Also, make sure your blades are ballanced and the weights on teh flybar are set exactly the same. If you can get a vid, I will be able to help you more. Hell, I may even do a video on this

The bummer is i stripped the head out of the tail grip grub screw so i had to cut the shaft to get everything off. Waist of a tail shaft for nothing
Blades are balanced perfectly and C of G is good too.
Everything is rebuilt and tight. A lot less play in the head now. Its dark now so i'll have to test it tomorrow but the forecast is for super strong wind again
As said before the only thing i found out of wack was the fly bar ever so slightly bent.
The tail is another matter i'll go through that again tomorrow.
I did have the camera on the heli pointing forwards but you can't see anything for the shaking

I had a bad shake and wobble before I found my flybar had an ever-so-slight tweak to it. Replaced it and problem solved. It's a pretty cheap fix/test.

It must have been the same problem with mine. Replaced the flybar and just tweaked the head to tighten a few links. Test flew just now and its flying smooth again.

It's seems we always don't want to believe the obvious! I used to trouble shoot electronics, and was constantly going crazy (especially with computers) trying to find something complicated. 75% of the time it was the simple fix staring me in the face.

I got bored not having things to build. So as my friend seems to have no time to build his heli, i did it for him.
I took a few pictures to show the easy way to put things together.
Hope they help some one.
And if you want i can take it apart again to show any problems you might have.
Cheers Lee

Build top and bottom frames separately

Attach all mounts to one side first

With the main gear in i could use it like a lazy susan table to work on more easily.

Easier way to mount servos with top sides separate

All done and ready to join to the bottom frame.
