My 3D experience

Hi Guys,
Thought i'd put up a thread about my 3D flying experience.
I started yesterday and as usual i jump straight in at the deep end with Piro Flips!!!
1Hr and about 500 crashes on the sim later, it's coming along nicely.
Next windless day i'm gonna give loops a try on my 450. Wish me luck

Guys i just did it !!!!
Day 12 approx 40 bat cycles.
I LOOPED !!!!!!!
What a rush. I was crapping myself.
had the camera on the heli. So if the pictures not too wobbley i'll post in a few mins.

Sorry the quality is not too good. I'm gonna change the camera mounting for next time.
The last few were better as i changed sides and the wind seem to make for a better loop. The other side was more downwind so it was flipping rather than looping.

Yep the very same. But the quality will be better when i put my metal skids on to reduce vibration.

I see your running that sim on a mac, are you using a vm and runing it in windows or are you using something like wine to run it? My brother has a mac and gripes that there are no sims written for it.

Nice loopey- doopey! I don't know if I can do it, though. I'm only good at Phoenix sim, and I crash a lot!

Eric. Heli X is written for Mac and is as good if not better than the more expensive sims, real flight, phoenix. You can also get it for Windows and Linux
