LOL. That's what I've done with a few of mine as well, ant it works very nicely.

A trick I learned in the balsa aircraft building days, myself. That was the practice for joints that needed extra strength, but back then we were still using epoxy. OK, so maybe it does not *look* great (paint match to the landing gear, that helps if the visual is an issue) but it's saved me the cost of several gear for my Proto CX and Blade CX3 already.

Thinking of buying one of these to get my indoor flying fix. That is an FP heli right? Is there a CollectivePitch heli near that size that is any good? I saw the MSR advertised on Horizon's website for $130 (BNF). Who's got the deal?

Yes, the mSR is a fixed pitch heli. And, if you go to www.thebarnfloor.com, they have this heli cheaper than anyone else. Just put it in your cart.

You can't beat the MSR. I got my orientation dialled in with it. It probably saved me a fortune in parts for my 450.
